The Home Building Process

Decide on your budget and get pre-qualified. I can assist you with a preliminary budget, and can refer you to a Mortgage Professional.

Pick your location whether it's a developed lot or your own land. We will assess site factors and the development expense associated with your home site such as, soil type, slope and drainage, excavation, site preparation, utilities, roads, water wells and septic systems.

Our Architectural Design Process allows you to work with Design Professionals to create your beautiful and functional dream home. This award winning design group will put the distinctive features in your home you have always wanted.

Pre-Construction Phase consists of determining budgets and specifications based on your goals, needs and requirements for your new home. I conduct in depth meetings on each component of your home from foundation design, energy saving features and cost efficient finish out options. These detailed meetings allow you to avoid cost overuns and to be fully informed to make the best decisions concerning your new home. A detailed budget will be presented to you for your review, input and approval.

Decorating and Selection Process Finish out allowances are determined based on your requirements. The selection process will be completed in phases in the order they are needed for the construction process, avoiding last minute decisions.

Construction Phase You will be kept informed during this process and given schedules of the upcoming activities. Detailed walk-throughs will be conducted during the process to confirm details on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security and computer wiring, cabinet design, interior trim levels, brick and stone accents. Our team philosophy allows our construction process to be a satisfying experience.

Inspections I will constantly inspect each aspect of construction to make certain it is complete and correct. My theory is, "You get what you inspect, not what expect." Also licensed Inspectors will inspect your home during the process including a final inspection.

Delivery Process We deliver complete homes. This is achieved by a strenuous inspection and punch out process to make certain that your home is complete, cosmetically and correct with all systems functioning properly. A customer "walk- through" is to show operation of all features, maintenance aspects and best practices for your new home, also to closely inspect, fit and finish of your completed home. I will also explain the Customer Service process and Warranty guidelines.
